Kingsboro Bowmen Shooter of the Year

Club membership required to participate.

Rules

  1. Kingsboro Bowmen is excited to announce that this year we will be kicking off our own Club Member "Shooter of the Year" Program and YES the prize will be a buckle! If you wish to join the club and try to win a buckle in your class be sure to reach out for joining info (Membership is $40 for singles and $60 for families)

  2. There are six(6) qualifying events on the schedule. Shooters must use their score from a minimum of three(3) events to qualify for Shooter of the Year.

  3. In order for a shooter to be eligible to be awarded SOY recognition, the following conditions must be met:

    • The shooter must be a current member of Kingsboro Bowmen Archery Club.

    • The shooter must shoot in three (3) or more events in the SAME class

    • All qualifying scores must be shot at a Kingsboro Bowmen 3D event.

  4. In order for the class to be recognized for SOY, the following conditions must be met:

    • The class must be recognized as one of our guaranteed classes. Men's Known 45, Men's Open 40, Women's Pins 40, Senior Pins, and Traditional

    •  There must be at least three(3) shooters with three(3) or more qualifying score in an ASA  class

  5. SOY winners will be calculated using the shooters top three scores averaged together.

  6. Should there be a tie between shooters, then the shooter’s average number of 12’s from the qualifying top three events will break the tie. Should the shooter’s still be tied, we will count the total number of 12’s in the shooters 2nd highest score to break the tie.

  7. When shooting for SOY, you must be in a group with at least 1 other person at each event. YOU MAY NOT COUNT YOUR SCORE IF YOU SHOOT ALONE.

  8. Members helping to set up the range that intend to shoot in unknown classes will not be permitted to set flags. You can still assist in setting the range just not staking it.
