Kingsboro Bowmen Archery Range
Practice Archery Range Requires a Club Membership to use.

PROHIBITED on the Range: Crossbows, pellet/BB/Air Soft guns and Broadheads.
The archery range is an unattended range inside Lone Star Lakes Park. The range is fully funded and maintained by the club. A safety brief is required before using the archery range.

RANGE RULES

SAFETY BRIEF & MEMBERSHIP CARD ARE REQUIRED BEFORE USING THE ARCHERY RANGE. Contact Kingsboro Bowmen Archery Club at 757-542-5150 to set up a safety brief.

NO FIREARMS, CROSSBOWS, AIRSOFT, BB/PELLET GUN OR BROADHEAD ARROWS ON THE RANGE.

Shooting is only permitted in the designated shooting area. No Exceptions.

Medical and First Aid Equipment is locared at the shed,

Only point bow at intended target and never nock or fire arrow unless you are sure the range is clear.

Anyone under 18 must be under contstant adult supervision to use the range.

Never shoot across walking paths or shooting lanes.

Always be aware of what is beyond the target.

Always shoot from the ground, never from an elevated position.

Never run on the range, ALWAYS WALK.

When looking for lost arrows, place a marker, or equipment in front of the targets to indicate you are down range.

The archer is responsible for the safety of your own equipment, check all equipment prior to using the range.

If you have an emergency on the range, immediately call 9-1-1 and notify a Park Attendant. GPS coordinates for the range: N36 51 05 W76 34 08

Keep the range clean by picking up your trash(used paper targets, broken arrows, food, etc) and placing in receptacles provided.

All Archers using the range must check-in using the "Range Check-In" button.
